Hello Story Slam Lovers! Please join us again on:

April 18th, 2019, 7 pm

Olympic Theatre Arts 414 N Sequim Ave.

for an evening on the theme “Blunders.”

Tell us about a gaffe, goof, misstep or other oops. Recount a defining slip-up, blooper, or faux pas from your life and times. Have you ever said the wrong thing at the wrong time? Let the cat out of the bag? Or made a spectacularly bad decision? We want to hear about it.  

We invite you to drop your name in the bag to share your five-minute true personal story on the theme – however you interpret it. If your name gets pulled, you get on stage to share. (Find more information on how story slams work, what the judges are looking for, etc.) This time around we ask that all interested tellers please let us know in advance that you would like to tell. We feel it’s important for both the tellers and the audience to have the experience you come for. After all, we can’t host a storytelling event without storytellers.

If you have been thinking about telling but would like a little more guidance shoot us an email and we’d be happy to give you some tips, or a template to get your ideas out. Some people like to write everything down, others like to practice aloud, there is no wrong way to prepare and we are here to help. To us, the best part about storytelling is being able to share.

After this event, we will be back in Port Angeles with the theme “Dirt.” While you’re thinking about your next story to share, one of the best ways to make sure these events continue is talking to your friends about it.
