Erran Sharpe featured teller, Wed. Oct. 2, 2024
The Wednesday, October 2, gathering of the Story People of Clallam County will feature Port Angeles storyteller Erran Sharpe.
With a deep appreciation of traditional stories and myths, Erran will tell stories of Curses and Blessings. Many folk tales include these magical spells, and the tales have meaning for our lives today, because how we speak to each other (and to ourselves) has a big impact.
Open Mic
The featured teller will be preceded by open mic storytelling. Audience members are welcome to share a story of up to 10 minutes length. Anyone interested in telling a story is strongly encouraged to develop it and practice it at the monthly Story Work session on Zoom — find more information on our Facebook page. Guidelines for storytellers can be found by clicking here.
