Eva Abram “The Pitfalls of Wanting” Oct. 14, 2014
Eva Abram tells stories of “The Pitfalls of Wanting” at Port Angeles Story Swap
Eva mesmerizes audiences with her sonorous voice and captivates them with her exquisite gestures. She uses folktales from many cultures to connect listeners to each other, and to their common humanity. Her stories contain human foibles, humor, and curiosity; they leave audiences feeling joyful and appreciative of each other.
Eva’s first formal storytelling teacher was Cherie Trebon who inspired and encouraged her on her path. Though perhaps the credit should go to her grandparents whose stories enthralled Eva as a young child. At any rate, she is now a stirring storyteller, actor, and speaker with Humanities Washington. Eva was a dynamic teller at the Forest Storytelling Festival in 2007, and at Tellebration.
