Festival Story Slam Theme
Force Of Nature
A person who is a force of nature has a strong personality or character — like a hurricane or a tsunami are also forces of nature — full of energy, unstoppable, unchallengeable, unforgettable. In short, a person to be reckoned with. Do you have a story about reckoning with such a person? Perhaps you are that person. Or have you reckoned with an actual force of nature — a storm, a volcano, a wild river or ocean surf, blistering heat — and lived to tell the tale and learn about yourself in the process.
We want to hear your story about dancing with powerful energy!
Festival Story Slam Details
Our story slam is free. It starts Saturday, Oct. 19, at 12:30 pm in the Little Theater at Peninsula College. Stories are limited to 5 minutes, and must describe your own personal experience. No notes, reading, props, or costumes. Prospective tellers put their names in a hat, and are drawn at random by the MC to come up to the stage and tell their story.
