Gray Wolf Tells of Life in the Tipi
Gray Wolf tells tales of life on the trail, in the tipi, and changing the path of at-risk teens
Gray Wolf engages and delights listeners with his experiences of life on the trail, in the tipi, and changing the paths of disenchanted teens.
Gray Wolf’s ancestry includes Northern Cheyenne of the Great Plains and Micmac of the far Northeast. He has traveled the country seeking knowledge from his People. On reservations he learned from tribal elders and others. He took an 11-month horse pack trip from Santa Fe, NM to Canada, living the stories his great-grandmother shared about the old days. He is a professional guide for canoe trips, horse-packing, kayaking, backpacking and prospecting. Gray Wolf also works with “at-risk” teens in intensive programs aimed at changing their paths. For over three decades he has shared his knowledge and interesting anecdotes with audiences of all ages in a diverse range of programs.
