Storytelling Souvenirs
The definition of a souvenir is a thing that is kept as a reminder of a person, place, thing or event. Pat’s traditional folktales and personal recollections often bring forth memories long forgotten. She likes nothing better than a good road trip, windows down and radio up. New places to see, new people to meet and each with a story to tell. A story may take only ten minutes to tell but may remain with a listener for years. Pat believes with each tale told, with every listener comes the opportunity to entertain possibilities.
Pat tells to a wide variety of audiences from school assemblies to attorneys. In her 40-year career, she has told at the opening of a bagel shop and helped celebrate the 100th birthday of a remarkable woman with the story of her life. She has been the MC for the Forest Storytelling Festival since its inception, and it is one of her favorite events. She is gracious, warm and welcoming.
