Story Slams Come to Port Angeles

It’s the night you have all been waiting for, the very first Story Slam in Port Angeles.  For this special evening, we invite you to share a humorous story from your real life experience. Everyone has at least one funny story and we want to hear it! Join us for our upcoming Story Slam on January 24th, 7 pm at Studio Bob, 118 E Front St (right above Sound Bikes and Kayaks) for an evening on the theme “Wickedly Funny.”

We invite you to drop your name in the bag to share your five-minute true personal story on the theme – however you interpret it. If your name gets pulled, you get on stage to share. (There is more information on how story slams work, what the judges are looking for, etc. at www.clallamstorypeople.org.)

February Slam in Sequim

After this event, we will be back in Sequim at Olympic Theatre Arts on February 28th with the theme “Heartburn.” While you’re percolating your next story, one of the best ways to make sure these events continue is talking to your friends about it. Volunteer Opportunity

Additionally, we are seeking one volunteer to help with the upcoming January show. Volunteering gets you free admission and does not preclude you from telling should your name be pulled. Just respond to this email; we will respond to confirm you as a volunteer.
