Hello Story Slam Lovers,

We’re back! Please join us again on August 29th 2019, 7 pm at Studio Bob, 118 E. 8th St., Port Angeles, for an evening on the theme “Game Changer.” Come hear true stories from your fellow community members’ lives.

Did you ever find yourself in a brand new situation? One door closed, and a window opened? An opportunity presented itself and you seized the day? Or perhaps the rug was pulled out from under you and you somehow found your footing? Whatever it was that changed the game for you, we want to hear about it!

You are invited to drop your name in the bag to share your five-minute true personal story on the theme – however you interpret it. If your name gets pulled, you get on stage to share. (There is more information on how story slams work, what the judges are looking for, etc. at www.clallamstorypeople.org.) Of course, we need an audience, and everyone is welcome to come to listen, there is no pressure to be a teller.

Thinking about telling? Let us know! It’s extremely helpful for us to know who/how many intend to tell at our events. If you have been thinking about telling but would like a little more guidance, feel free to reach out to us.
