Storyteller’s Workshop with Kim!
Wednesday, Oct. 30th. 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Kim makes storytelling seem so natural, but there is great artistry in her performance. We hope you will be inspired to learn more about telling stories yourself. Kim is offering this practical, experiential workshop where you can improve your storytelling, no matter how new or how experienced you already are with telling stories.
Having an idea for a story is just the beginning. The writing, the editing, the telling is where the real beauty shines through turning an idea of a story into a GREAT story. In this workshop we will dive deep into the crafting of your story for telling, how to bring depth to your characters, and what not to do when taking it to the stage.
We will cover how to tell with intention, how to keep digressions and rambling out of the picture…unless planned. Every minute on stage is a gift and when the audience invites you into the pulpit of their life, we owe it to them to bring the best of our story and the best of ourselves.
Before the workshop, a questionnaire will be emailed asking 3 questions. Please respond! This will help me be sure to give each participant targeted guidance and insight.
